※ At Harmony Kindergarten, our children learn about a different country each month. They discover where the country is located in the world, famous places to visit, the foods people eat, the languages they speak, the games they enjoy, and so much more! In May, we explored Brazil. 🇧🇷 At the end of the month, we celebrate what we have learned with a special Culture Day. The children review their learning, enjoy cooking and crafts, and sometimes even welcome special guests. This time, we were blessed to have a very special guest who grew up in Brazil and has a deep love for the country. The children had a wonderful opportunity to learn about Brazilian culture firsthand!

Our teachers are so friendly and wonderful! ✨ When we asked them to introduce today’s cooking activity, they jumped right in and made it happen immediately! We hope you can feel the fun and excitement of today’s Special Cooking through this video. ☺️

※ 🌿Cooperation🌿 This month’s value is Cooperation. April is a time of many changes, so thinking about cooperation and learning it through experience is very helpful for children in their daily lives. With the start of the new school year in April, the leaders the children had relied on graduated, and new children joined, bringing significant changes to the environment. Even so, from the very first day, the children were calm, settled, and full of smiles, spending time together peacefully across mixed ages—from the youngest to the oldest. We are truly grateful to see that they have learned what cooperation means. The children help one another each day, and although they sometimes have small conflicts, they continue to enjoy their time at school happily and harmoniously. ☺️ 今月のバリューは協力です。4月は変化の多い月。ですので、協力について考えたり、体験して協力を身につけていくことは、こどもたちの日々の生活にとても役に立ちます。 4月から新しい年度が始まり、頼ってきたリーダーたちが卒園し、新しい子が加わり、大きな環境の変化がありましたが、その中でもこどもたちは、初日から穏やかに落ち着いてニコニコの笑顔で小さい子から大きい子まで異年齢の中で過ごせていました。彼らが協力とは何かを身につけてきたことが分かり、本当に感謝です。こどもたちは日々助け合いながら、そして時には少しぶつかり合いながらも、仲良く楽しく園生活を送っています。☺️ #harmony #internationalschool #Values #english

※ 🌿Sharing Circle🌿 On Sharing Circle days, each child brings a special treasure from home. First, there is a time to share and appreciate one another’s precious items. The children talk to each other, saying things like, “Can I borrow it?”, “Let’s play together,” or “Can you show me?”, and enjoy interacting as they play. After that, they form small groups and take turns presenting their treasures. “My treasure is…” They share why it is special to them, along with stories, memories, or ways they like to play with it. For the children, it is also a valuable opportunity to listen to others.
